Gear for lightweight snow camping

This is what I’m bringing with me on my snow camping trip this weekend. This is what it looks like fully packed.
The photo is missing some food, but otherwise complete. The heaviest stuff is the stove/fuel and the water.

I would never survive in the wild…
Looks like fun, reminds me of trying to pack everything up for my cross country motorcycle trip.

Nice. In a bizarre way, this makes me very much want to go snow camping next winter.
I eat Cliff bars. Does this make me prepared?
What tent? *curious*

Seen on your photo stream. (?)
No tent, just the MSR E-Wing to cover the top of the snow trench.
Wait a second! When did/is this happening? Where to?
(No, I will not just turn and ask you at your desk.)
This is so cool. It’s like adventure time!

Ross Harmes: thermarest?
Yeah, Therm-a-rest.
Cool stuff. I’ve got a lot of similar gear (Therm-a-rest too), minus the GPS and shovel…
Looks like you’ve got it all covered. But wait a minute… where’s your knife?!
